It is still possible to pass on warts even after they have been treated and gone, but the risk is much lower than passing them on when they are still present. In any new relationship, we would usually recommend protected sex for the first three months at least. If then you both test clear for everything and you're considering sex without condoms, it would be a good idea to mention to your partner that you have had warts in the past. You can both then talk things through.
