Dear Annabelle, None of the activities you describe would give rise to the symptoms you've talked about. Gonorrhoea can be harboured in the throat but to catch that, one would have to give deep throat oral sex to a man who had the infection in his penis. I would refer you back to your doctor with the assurance that the throat problems you describe are not likely to be related to any sexual activity. Rob
